Parish of Santana

   The Parish of Santana is another beach that is on the route of many walks and is usually always full of tourists and schooners, on this beach there is a historic church from 1843 There was a large coffee and sugar cane farm there, and it was one of the first villages inhabited after colonization, on Ilha Grande. The local  besides being one of the first, and also one of the villages with the most people. 

     This ruin is still well preserved and next to it some tombs from that time can be visited.

      Access to the Parish of Santana, can be by foot or by boat, but the people who are in Vila do Abraão, could take up to 4 hours walking, on a trail with an average level of walking, so the boat trip ends up being more common.
